Grant matches your mission
Fit scores now start with your cause, funder numbers add up, and Grant Search loads in under a second.

Grant scores now put what you do first, and the numbers behind every funder and grant are easier to trust.
Better matches
- Your cause comes first. Fit scores weigh how well a grant matches your cause before anything else, so off-mission grants no longer show as a high fit. Grants open only to individuals or to other kinds of organizations drop out of Recommended.
- Your NTEE code, filled in. Verifying your EIN fills in your NTEE code from your IRS record. Changing your EIN in organization settings checks the new number right away, so your eligibility badge stays accurate. Without a code, Funder Matches still lists funders, without a fit score, and asks you to set your cause. Grant applications no longer need an NTEE code to get past the Eligibility step.
- Funders that make grants come first. The Funders list leads with funders that make grants. Patient-assistance programs that give donated medicine sort to the end. Geography is scored on where a funder gives, not on its mailing address, and funders with the same score rank by how much they give.
- No duplicates. Discovery no longer lists the same grant twice when it was found on two pages, and grants already in your pipeline keep their details.
Clearer numbers
- Grant pages show the amount awarded, and a grant's linked funder opens the funder's profile.
- A funder's average grant is the same on a grant's Linked funder card as on the funder's profile, and it's never more than the funder gives in a year.
- Funder grant counts say what they count, and programs without a budget read "No budget set". Award ranges, deadlines and reopening dates are formatted the same way everywhere.
- The command center's high-fit count covers only grants not yet in your pipeline. Its deadlines match the Calendar, including manual and report deadlines.
Faster and easier to get around
- Grant Search and the Historical awards tab load in under a second. Past awards in Search only match a recipient or funder name you can see.
- Fix links in Find grants open the right Grant profile step, and Grant settings links back to Find grants or Grants.
- When there's no grant to start a writing workspace or record an award for, the drawer tells you why and takes you to the step that fixes it.
